Founded in 2000, the Blues Festival Basel has developed far beyond local borders into an important and valued event of the Basel music scene. For 6 days each April, the festival features musical highlights from international and national stars, but also includes local talent from the world of blues. Every year, the Blues Festival Basel presents the ’Grammy’ of Swiss Blues- the prestigious ’Swiss Blues Award’.
